What we are up to:
This term we will be continuing to work on the new Essex Challenge Badge, learning knots and completing the Astronomy Badge.

Belchamps 75th Anniversary Camp Weekend
Cubs and Scouts camped at Belchamps over the celebratory weekend in May. They were joined by the beavers on one day.

Grand National Fun Run
Cubs and Beavers took part in this year's Fun Run where they had to jump fences and complete challenges as they ran around the track. Great fun was had by all!
Investitutre
After a few weeks of attending meetigs, the 2 new Cubs and the 2 that had moved up from Beavers, were invited to make their promise. They then received their Cub log books and new woggles.
Chef Badge Part 3
Cubs made cup cakes for the final part of this badge. When half were making their cakes, the rest payed draughts and chess until it was thier turn.
Chef badge Part 2
Cubs cooked pancakes over the base of an empty tin can with a tea light underneath it.
Then the Cubs decorated their chef hats and chopped fresh fruit to eat with the cooked pancakes.
Chef Badge Part 1
Cubs worked hard preparing and chopping vegetables then cooked them in a stir fry.
The eating part was fun too!!
Moving Up to Scouts
Four Cubs moved up to Scouts at the start of the Spring Term 2010. Here they are being introduced and welcomed to Scouts.
