This term we will be continuing work on the new Essex Challenge Badge, completing a challenge each month, as well as completing our Global Challenge and Hobbies Badge.

Beavers took part in the Beaver District Renewal of Promise at Holy Trinity Church, Rayleigh. They heard tales of heroes and St George (the Patron Saint of Scouting). Many thanks to the Holy Trinity team for leading the service.
Moving On
A couple of Beavers moved up to Cubs at the start of the summer term 2011.
Tower Challenge
Beavers worked in their lodges and were given one minute to build a sugar cube tower. The highest tower wins!
County Awards Day
One beaver was awarded his Chief Scout's Bronze Award - the highest badge a beaver can earn. He attended a special presentation day at Tilbury Fort, along with 2 of our scouts, where he received his certificate from the County Commissioner, Jan Dear.
Belchamps 75th Anniversary Sleepover
In May, Beavers attended a fantastic couple of days of fun at the Belchamps Anniversary Weekend.
